TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. DEFINITIONS

The "Terms and Conditions" set out below apply to your use of this website and any order placed with us

These "Terms and Conditions" do not affect your statutory rights

To avoid confusion, the following definitions are assumed:

"We" , "Us" , or "the Company" refers to "Radiator World Ltd" , whose registered address and company details are:

"You" refers to the customer using "The Website" and seeking to purchase "Goods" from the "Company"
"Conditions" refers to the standard "Terms and Conditions of Sale", which are set out below, as well as any further agreed-upon terms confirmed in writing between "Us" and "You"
"Goods" refers to the item(s) "We" supply "You" in accordance with the "Conditions"
"Contract" refers to the contract "You" enter into with the "Company" to provide "Goods"
"Order" refers to the transaction for "Goods", often placed on "The Website" or over the telephone with a sales person
We enter into a "Contract" with "You" once the "Order" has been accepted, subject to passing various in-house criteria determined by us
We may decide not to enter into a "Contract" with "You" if any of these criteria are not met, and "We" can choose to reject an "Order" without further reasons being given

2. DESCRIPTION OF GOODS

All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods

We always endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are correct (refer to E&EO section), but advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and further contacting our award-winning "in house" sales team for supportive but non legal advice

Radiator World Ltd team work hard to ensure that prices and technical specification information is accurate at the time of purchase

However, we are entitled to make changes to the price to take into account any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any VAT (taxes or duties), or if due to an "Error or Omission" the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed

In this unlikely event, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies at any time

3. PRICING, OFFERS & DISCOUNTS

The customer care team at Radiator World Ltd is always working hard to ensure that all pricing is accurate at the time of purchase

However, we are entitled to make adjustments to the price of a product to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed

Any price changes will be advised and agreed prior to us accepting your order and dispatching goods

If you choose to cancel and have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund

We ask that all goods be paid for on completion of your order and that all funds are cleared prior to delivery

Any special sale offers and discount codes are for selected product lines only

If you have any concern over a supplied code or special sale offer, please contact our sales team prior to ordering as additional discounts cannot be applied once a payment has been processed

Only one discount code can be applied per order, this includes any NHS/Blue Light codes (which our company supports to the highest of degrees)

Discount codes cannot be used if you choose to use one of our 0% Finance Options on checkout of your order (where offered)

Our price match promise can only be approved prior to the order being processed and product delivered


4. ORDERS

Confirmation of your order will be: when you receive an email from us confirming your order and the contract will only exist when this email has been received by you

We reserve the right to refuse your order for any reason

Any "errors or omissions" on this site or any invoices or other documentation or any information issued by us from time to time shall be subject to correction without liability on our part

If you wish to write to us regarding any matter, we ask you to quote your confirmation of order reference number

If an item you order is out of stock, then you will be emailed to inform you of this and given an approximate date of delivery, our expert team will also make personal contact with yourself to provide professional guidance on other products that may be suitable that are in stock for immediate next day delivery

If we cannot provide you with a suitable alternative and you are unable to wait for the stock to be replenished, you will be given an option to cancel the order

Payment is taken at the point of transacting/placing the order through our website and is required to be maintained if you still wish to continue with the order and wait for the item to come back into stock

Once the item is in stock, you will be sent an email informing you of this and the approximate date of delivery

All prices include VAT

An invoice giving a description of the goods purchased and the price paid including VAT will be supplied via email

All orders must be paid in full before despatch unless otherwise agreed by Radiator World in writing

Goods remain the property of Radiator World Ltd until paid for in full

Whilst we take every precaution to avoid fraudulent activity, we accept no liability for a loss arising from the use of this web site


5. DELIVERY

We aim to deliver most products within 1-2 working days.

This excludes "Special Order Products" which can take up to approximately 4 weeks but product delivery/lead times are specified on each individual product page - 95% of our products are on a Next Day delivery service unless they are bespoke/RAL/made to order/custom order products

Goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control - "force majeure" prevails in context to these sales of condition

Please note that if there are any items on your order that are currently out of stock then we will contact you to discuss delivery

If an item is not in stock, we will back order it for you or give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait

If your order consists of a number of items multiple deliveries may be required to complete the order dependant on which of our warehouses the items ordered are stocked. You will be contacted by one of our professional customer service advisors to discuss full delivery details if this is the case

Radiator World Ltd strongly advises you not to book any installers or engage in any preparatory work until you are in full receipt of your goods and they have been checked

We will not be liable for any plumber, fitter or other labour costs, consequential loss or compensation in any way

If an order cannot be successfully completed due to the purchaser being unable to accept the goods on the date agreed or the delivery details supplied by the purchaser being incorrect, then a redelivery charge may be applicable

If goods are ordered over the weekend or on a bank holiday the order date is taken as the following working day for delivery purposes

If a delivery would normally fall due over the Christmas shut down period the delivery period may be extended to a later date

After completion of your order please check your receipt and ensure that all the details are correct. If you are in any doubt, please contact our sales department immediately as post-delivery changes take time and can be an inconvenience to you

Please note that all deliveries (unless specified on the product page) will be delivered by a one-man delivery service, so please ensure that assistance is available at the delivery address if required

Goods may be palletised - goods will be delivered as close as possible to the delivery address/site/project access/front door

If this location is unreachable for any reason, such as a narrow street, up a flight of stairs (such as flats), or any other obstruction, delivery will be made as near to your property as possible

For palletised deliveries, the driver is NOT insured to take the goods inside the project/site/property

The pallet will be delivered to a location as stated above, and it is strongly recommended that at least 2 able bodied persons are available to receive the delivery and carry the goods inside

We are always aiming for perfection; however human error can sometimes occur resulting in an incorrect item being delivered

Any item that is delivered in error is still the property of Radiator World Ltd and customers do not have authorisation to dispose, modify or keep the goods without contacting us for approval in writing.

Any item delivered in error will be collected from you at our cost and on a convenient day for you within a reasonable amount of time.

Please ensure that all goods are checked by yourself and report any problems to our customer care team within 24 hours of delivery.

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your premises/site/business/residential address you will be responsible for them.

We will only deliver to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature unless authorised by the person named on the order.

Delivery Charges; Next working day delivery to a large part of Mainland UK is included in the price shown on the products page. There are exceptions and full details are available here.

Any goods left the warehouse will be charged or less refunded to our customers for the redelivery back to warehouse.

Only accessories orders will be charged £5.00 for delivery, if it is ordered with a radiator, delivery charge is waivered.

Any delivery charges are non-refundable.


6. CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day after the date of delivery.

To exercise your right of cancellation you must contact us, giving details of goods ordered and the delivery details.

Any cancellation requests must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled delivery date.

All non-faulty goods must be available for us to collect within 14 days from you requesting a return, and we ask that all goods are correctly re-wrapped and must be returned in their original packaging.

We will refund your money on orders within 14 days of the goods arriving at one of our warehouses.

Returns outside 28 days will not be accepted.

On cancellation for any reason, goods CANNOT be returned in person by yourself; this is to ensure that all goods are safely and correctly returned to avoid damages and ensure that all collections/returns are insured.

The costs of returning goods are the responsibility of the customer.

It is preferred that returns are arranged by us after you have agreed to the return costs.

This is due to our expertise and ability to handle goods of high value and of a fragile nature, to ensure the goods arrive back to us in resaleable condition.

If you would prefer to return goods by your own means, it is important you take all appropriate measures to ensure the goods arrive back to us in resaleable condition.

Returning goods by your own means must be agreed with the aftercare team before any items are returned, as some of our warehouses do not allow customers to return goods by their own means for health and safety reasons.

If goods are not returned in a perfect resaleable condition, we have the right to reject the return of these goods.

Do not return items without first contacting us to confirm the returns process.

We will not be held responsible for items returned to one of our addresses and then lost - we have specific addresses and warehouses for different types of products so returns must be organised and confirmed with us prior to any collections or items being returned to us.

A dedicated member of our returns team will issue you with a returns address and return reference.

Please do not post any items to any of our office addresses, as goods will be rejected.

We have specialist warehouses across the UK that are trained to handle, store and quality check incoming returns.

The returns reference will be provided only upon confirmation that your return will be accepted.

Any returns received outside of the 14-day notification or without prior approval / without correct references or in any condition that is not resalable will not be accepted or will not be refunded.

Please only use clear tape on packaging and do not write on the box.

It is the customer's responsibility to check the products for damage and to notify us of any damages within 24 hours.

In instances where product is installed prior to notification of damages this will automatically void any right to request a replacement, refund or exchange.

Do not install any items you have previously reported to us as damaged, as doing so also will void any right to request a replacement, refund or exchange.

Installing an item is acceptance that the item is correct, and cannot be returned.

Please check your item prior to installation to ensure your item is correct and is in perfect condition.

No returns are allowed after the 14-day cooling off period.

You will not have any right to cancel a Contract for the supply of any Products:

• i) that have been custom made to suit your specifications including special orders;

• ii) which by reason of their nature cannot be returned

Do not dispose of any damaged/faulty goods unless we have given permission in writing for you to do so.

Any items disposed of without our permission cannot be refunded.

If a replacement product has already been delivered and the damaged/faulty goods are disposed of without our written permission, the goods disposed of will be chargeable.

If you have any questions regarding cancellations, damages or returns then please contact us.

As per Consumer Law, all refunds will be made within 14 days of cancellation/item being returned and checked and approved.

If a chargeback is logged with your card issuer before waiting the full legal 14 days, we are within our rights to charge you a £100 fee for the misuse of the chargeback scheme and the increased costs and administrational work required as a consequence.

If you wish to cancel or return back an order there will be a 30% handling charge for DQ products and min starting from £45 for all other brands.

If goods have already been dispatched then you are responsible for returning the item in the same condition as it was despatched from us or the supplier.

If the item is returned not in its original condition, we reserve the right to refuse any refund and request that you must collect the product at your own cost/accord within 5 working days.

Any monies to be returned to the customer will be sent within 30 days.

Collection of goods can be arranged by us but there will be an additional charge of a minimum £45 per item.

RAL coloured & Special Finish radiators are made to customer not returnable, cancellable.


7. WARRANTY & GUARANTEE PERIODS

Your guarantee in most cases will be your receipt from us, you must keep this in a safe place should you need to use this in the future.

If you have a problem and you wish to report or use your guarantee you may be asked to produce this receipt.

All goods sold comply with all the correct British standards legislation and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Please also refer to the delivery section for instructions about guarantees, faulty products, failed deliveries or missing items.

Warranty is limited to goods supplied, no responsibility is accepted for any other loss occurring from the purchase, supply or installation of any goods supplied.

All our products are covered by a minimum 12-month guarantee unless specified otherwise in the item description. Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.


8. SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCTS

A product is classed as a Special-Order product when they are made to a customer’s own specification.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Made to Order Products - lead times over min 2 weeks is made to order direct from the factory

• Electric/pre-filled Radiators - where it is required that the manufacturer pre-fills and tests the radiator with a liquid filling to make it electric (not limited to Reina products)

• Made to Colour Radiators - RAL, custom painted etc.

A Special-Order Product cannot be cancelled once ordered and cannot be returned.

Delivery times for Special Order Products are estimates and may vary.

Any defects or discrepancies with any special-order products must be reported to us strictly within 24 hours of you receiving delivery.


9. INSTALLATION

We do not accept any fault or responsibility for losses arising from the installation any of the products purchased from this site.

We ask all our customers to seek the advice of trained and qualified installers.

If at any time our sales team have given advise in writing or verbally then we accept no responsibility of errors associated with such advice.

We aim to help our customers where ever possible however customers must accept that all sanitary, electrical products which have association with boilers, gas, water mains and electricity are dangerous products and must be handled by a competent person.


10. PRIVACY POLICY & SECURITY

Radiator World do not store credit card details nor disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment.

In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

All information held by us conforms with the Data Protection Act 1974.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Wish List’ Option.

They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process.

You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies.

If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

Data collected by this site is used to:

• a. Take and fulfil customer orders

• b. Administer and enhance the site and service

11. ACCURACY INFORMATION

We take great care to reproduce all descriptions and specifications as provided by the manufacturers. Any such information is reproduced in good faith.

Should you feel an error or omission has occurred, please contact us to discuss the product in more detail.

All the illustrations / colours are representative only, sizes are approximate, details, specifications, prices are accurate at time of publication, but may liable to change without notice.

All pictures on this site are for illustration purposes only.

All accessories associated with a picture will not be included in the sale unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Pictures of items which have different sizes are only representative and the customer is responsible for checking the product description and size of the item they wish to purchase.

We do not accept responsibility and unless you have received an item which does not match your order, we will not be able exchange it.

Pricing Errors, we reserve the right to cancel any order were the price displayed is in error.
